Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he will conduct surprise inspections in the state anytime after June 12. Conducting a review at the Secretariat on the implementation of state government schemes and various government services, he made it clear that it has been a year since the TDP coalition government was formed and there should be complete satisfaction in terms of government performance and public services in all departments.
He said that changes have been made in some departments, but the quality of services in places like RTC still needs to be improved. On this occasion, he took feedback received through IVRS and QR codes on the schemes being implemented under various departments. He discussed the opinions expressed with the CS and CMO secretaries.
Speaking on the announcement that the subsidy amount of three cylinders per year given to beneficiaries under the Deepam 2 scheme will be deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries in advance at once, he explained that they can get a cylinder under the Deepam scheme, but the government will pay them the amount given for three cylinders in advance.
CM Chandrababu said that West Godavari district is at the top in terms of people’s satisfaction with the quality of ration distribution. When asked whether money is being demanded during gas delivery, 62 percent of people answered no. There is not the expected level of satisfaction with RTC services. 44 percent expressed dissatisfaction with drinking water and 55 percent with toilets.
The CM said that compared to the past, more people in rural areas have expressed satisfaction with garbage collection. He said that data analytics is very important in government services. He said that the feedback from the people should be analyzed effectively and in case of dissatisfaction, the reasons should be known and acted accordingly.
Chandrababu said that 325 services are being provided in WhatsApp governance. After WhatsApp services were made available through ‘Mana Mitra’, 45 lakh people have successfully used these services. He said that the target is to provide 500 services by June 12.
He said that the government’s proposed drone city will be set up on 300 acres in the Orvakal industrial node. He said that the first phase of this is being set up on 116 acres. He said that 38 companies have shown interest in becoming partners in this. He explained that the tender process will be completed by June 12.
