Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that quantum computing activities will begin from January 1st with Amaravati as the center. He made it clear that what Silicon Valley is for America, Quantum Valley will be for Amaravati. He said that a new technological revolution will be ushered in with the invention of quantum satellites.
Speaking at a workshop held at Novotel in Vijayawada on Monday, he suggested that it is not enough to think about IT, an ecosystem should be created for it. He revealed that Hyderabad has now become a platform for futuristic technologies. He recalled that India had achieved the technological revolution in 1995, and he also had a role in it.
“We actually wanted to promote quantum computing. We wanted to invite important people on this. At that time, the Government of India announced the Quantum Computing Mission. Immediately I asked the central government and they said okay. We also asked how to move forward. We have created an ecosystem through TCS, IBM and L&T to enable more people to come forward in this field,” he said.
CM Chandrababu Naidu said that AP has many advantages. The Sriharikota rocket launch is here. He said that the central government has given permission for private investment in the aerospace sector and the AP is very strong in green energy.
He recalled that in 1989, while contesting from Kuppam, he had said in a public meeting that he would bring electronic exchange. However, he recalled that his opponents were wrong on that point. He clarified that all government services will be handled through WhatsApp chat bots by August 15th. He explained that only China, US and India are ahead in top AI usage.
Chandrababu recalled that we started Quantum Valley by taking America’s Silicon Valley as an example. Stating that people are thinking about what will be the benefit if IT grows, he said that in the future everything will be linked to IT. He said that we can develop only if IT grows.
The Chief Minister said that we will usher in a new technological revolution with the invention of the quantum satellite. He assured that he will be at the forefront of promoting quantum computing. The CM said that Prime Minister Modi has full support for our state and asked India and America to work together for the good of the world.
