Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the state is moving forward with a plan for the benefit of the environment. As part of the `Swarna Naravaripalle Vision” for the development of Naravaripalle Gram Panchayat in Chandragiri mandal, the Chief Minister held an interactive meeting with the villagers under the three secretariats and received their suggestions and advice, and gave directions for the development of the village.
Speaking on this occasion, he said, “If you install a solar power panel up to 3 kilowatts in each house, the government will provide a subsidy of Rs. 78,000, and if you install a 2 kilowatt solar roof top, the government will provide a subsidy of Rs. 65,000”.
Also, he said that if you use the electricity required for your house per day and give the excess electricity to the electricity department, you will also get income from it. The cost you invest will be returned to you in four to five years, he added. He advised people that through this, they can generate electricity without a current bill.
Through this solar power system, the Chief Minister said that they can travel free of cost by providing electricity to homes and charging vehicles, freeing them from the cost of petrol and diesel. He also suggested that everyone should convert vehicles into electric vehicles and assured that the government is also implementing a battery swapping system for vehicles. So that there will be no long waiting at charging stations for charging electric vehicles.
Chandrababu expressed hope that the state should be eco-friendly and e-vehicles should be promoted with the idea that Naravari Palli should be an ideal model for this. He asked the farmers here to show passion for natural farming as farming without using pesticides and fertilizers can produce a good crop. This will lead to good health.
As part of health infrastructure, he said that steps will be taken to improve the hospital in Naravari village so that up to 5,000 people can receive treatment. “We will also take steps to provide mid-day meal facilities to those who come for treatment. Roads from Rangampet to Bhimavaram and Mangalampeta will be completed at a cost of Rs. 8 crore, and CC roads will be completed for every street”, he said.
In this area, Chandrababu said that students and housewives who have stopped their education in the middle will be able to continue their studies, and an IT tower will be set up for about 500 people to come and study and work. A skill development center will also be set up to provide vocational training and thus provide them with employment by linking them with industries like Sri City, he added.
