Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the first natural gas pipeline of AG&P on Sunday. On this occasion, he launched a door-to-door gas distribution scheme in Tiruchanur. Chandrababu warmly greeted those who entered a house to launch the scheme.
He asked about the differences between cylinder gas and pipeline gas. Later, he himself lit the stove and made tea. After that, he started environmentally friendly two-wheelers. He hoisted the flag and started the rally of CNG vehicles. On this occasion, CM Chandrababu addressed a gathering organized there.
On this occasion, CM Chandrababu said “A house using gas was inspected in Tiruchanur. I am happy that the state has grown from a wood stove to a gas pipeline. I am happy that uninterrupted gas is available”.
He revealed that gas connections have been given to 51 industries in Tirupati district by giving quick approvals and 7.5 lakh jobs will come through green energy in the future. “We will encourage environmentally friendly projects in the state. We are giving incentives to every house for solar power generation through Suryagarh Kusum”, he added.
Chandrababu said that we will make AP a green energy hub and he wants every house and industry to be connected through a piped gas line. More people and industries should benefit at a low cost, he said.
He expressed his happiness that AG&P Pratham is coming forward with 10,000 jobs and an investment of Rs. 10,000 crores in the coming days. He recalled that we are the only ones who have implemented reforms in the electricity sector in the country since 1999. Like the Japanese, he expressed confidence that the Telugu people will be number one in the world by 2047.
He said that ‘working hard nature’ is more among the Telugu people and expressed hope that this nature will make it number one. Welcoming the Telugu people who are coming to their hometowns from the country and abroad for the Sankranti festival, the Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the people of the state of Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Sankranti.
