CM Chandrababu Asks party MLAs keeps Mouth shut, Don’t Talk Unnecessary Things

Monday, December 8, 2025

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu cautioned party MLAs to keep their mouths shut and not talk about unnecessary things. He warned that “if we speak wrongly, the opposition will take it as an opportunity”. He advised the cadre to work hard from today with the determination to win again in the upcoming elections.

He was speaking at the TDLP meeting  held in the AP Assembly Committee Hall and the meeting continued for almost two hours. He said that he is regularly getting reports on the performance of the leaders and he will soon call the leaders and activists and speak specially.

Chandrababu advised the cadre to focus on party building and warned that if we leave the party like this, we will all sink. That is why, he said that we should focus on the party activists and second-tier leaders. He said that we will be able to move forward only if we include everyone.

During the 2019 elections, he recalled that when it was dubbed as “Nara Sura Rakta Charitra” on the murder of former minister Vivekananda Reddy, the party was unable to deal with it properly at that time. YCP leaders tried to convince the people and Viveka’s daughter Sunitha also believed it was true. She went to the court only after knowing the truth, he added.

Chandrababu Naidu cautioned that YCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy is still trying to convince the people that the lie is true. “The other day, garbage was burnt near Jagan’s house. They tried to make a fuss about that too. Finally, when they were asked for CCTV footage, they raised their hands”, he added.

The Chief Minister deplored that there was a lack of coordination between the MLAs, the people and the cadre. He said that a coordination committee meeting should be held on this. On this occasion, Chief Whip Anjaneyilu and Gorantla Butchayya Chowdhury requested that funds be provided for the development of the constituencies. CM Chandrababu said that he would see when to take a decision based on the financial situation.

“Like the central budget, there should be an extensive discussion on the state budget as well. We will fill all the nominated posts by April. You should give names to market yards and temples. Party posts should be completed by Mahanadu”, he added.
