The upcoming Indian installment of the Citadel series, titled ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny, featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan, is all set to entertain audiences on November 7. With a month ahead of its release, the filmmakers announced an exciting update today with the latest promo.
The makers unveiled the latest promo featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi. The promo links a connection between the main characters, Honey and Bunny of Citadel and Srikanth Tiwari and JK from Raj & DK’s other blockbuster series ‘Family Man’.
It begins with Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi going through a file related to the spies Honey Bunny, portrayed by Varun Dhawan and Samantha. While reading, they received a message on their pager, “Honey Bunny Are Here..” At the end of the promotional video, they revealed the series trailer will be unveiled on October 15. Fans are in for a treat as they anticipated the exciting crossover with Varun and Samantha’s characters.
Directed by the dynamic duo Raj & DK, this spy thriller action series is produced by the D2R Films production company. This Indian adaptation of the spin-off American TV series will premiere on the popular OTT platform Amazon Prime.
Apart from Samantha and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles, the series also casts Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, and Sikandar Kher in significant roles.
