Megastar Chiranjeevi, honored with the Padma Vibhushan, emphasized his detachment from politics. He arrived in Hyderabad from Delhi on Friday, receiving India’s second-highest civilian award the day before. Today, upon his arrival in Hyderabad, he was warmly greeted by the media at Shamshabad Airport. Addressing the gathering, he reiterated his stance, stating, “I remain committed to staying above politics.”
Dispelling rumors, he clarified, “There’s no truth to speculations of my visit to Pithapuram in support of my younger brother, Pawan Kalyan. Kalyan himself has expressed his preference for me not to attend. I wish him well… My aspirations in life are separate. While my family sincerely supports my brother’s political journey, I believe the late NTR deserves the Bharat Ratna. If a coalition government comes to power, NTR should be considered for this honor.”
