Chilkur Balaji Temple’s chief priest, Rangarajan, has voiced his concerns regarding the controversy surrounding the Tirumala laddu prasadam. He called for a full-scale investigation into the allegations of adulteration. Rangarajan expressed deep disappointment, stating that such incidents in Tirumala, where Lord Venkateswara is worshipped as the deity of Kaliyuga, are both distressing and alarming.
He urged the Andhra Pradesh government to initiate an inquiry to uncover the truth. Rangarajan also mentioned that, as suggested by Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, forming a national-level Dharmic Parishad could help prevent such unfortunate incidents. He appealed to the central government to step in and preserve the sanctity of Tirumala.
