Chilkur Priest Attack: CM Revanth Reddy Assures Action

A shocking incident transpired at the historic Chilkur Balaji Temple on the 7th of this month when a gang of 25 people clad in black, arriving in three vehicles, attacked the temple chief priest Rangarajan. Shocked by such an unexpected assault, the Telugu states resound with many questioning the motive behind the attack and the people who are behind it.

Reacting to the incident, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally reached out to Rangarajan over the phone to express his concern and extend his support. The CM assured the priest that those behind the attack would face strict legal action and instructed law enforcement to carry out a comprehensive investigation.

Reaffirming his commitment to justice, Revanth Reddy pledged full government support for Rangarajan, emphasizing that such incidents would not be tolerated. Meanwhile, Chevella MLA Kale Yadayya and Library Chairman Madhusudan Reddy visited the priest to offer their solidarity. During their meeting, the CM spoke to Rangarajan once again, assuring him that swift action would be taken against the perpetrators.
