Chandrababu’s Second Signature On Repeal Of Land Titling Act

Friday, May 17, 2024

TDP chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who had earlier announced that his first signature after becoming chief minister will be on Mega DSC, now said that his second signature will be the repeal of the Land titling Act.

Addressing Praja Galam public meeting at Chirala of Bapatla district on Wednesday evening, he termed the act sarcastically as `Jaganmohan Reddy’s Land Grabbing Act’. He warned the public that if the YSRCP forms government again in the state, their lands would be grabbed by him and his accomplices.

Speaking at the weavers’ community dominated assembly constituency,  Naidu assured that the coming TDP-allied NDA government will certainly come to the rescue of the handloom workers and their families.

He promised various benefits for them, including up to 200 units of free electricity, financial assistance of Rs 25,000 per year and cancellation of GST.

He accused  that the YSRCP rule in the state started with the demolition of the Praja Vedika, and the destruction continued in the administration, and not a single department is functioning as per the norms.

He said that if YSP had not come to power, the construction of Amaravati would have been completed already. He said that if the plan was made for the construction of Amaravati Outer Ring Road, it would be destroyed by the YSP government.

He recalled that 29,000 people have given 35,000 acres for the capital, and deplored that due to the stoppage of the construction of Amaravati, the value of land has fallen in Guntur and Krishna districts and the purchasing power of people has decreased.

He said that health insurance of Rs 25 lakh will be implemented for the family. He asked people to vote for  TDP candidate’s bicycle symbol in the elections to be held on the 13th of this month to oust Jagan, who is imposing heavy burdens on the people.

He criticized Jagan for acting like a businessman and a broker and harassed people with taxes and eventually increased the prices of cheap liquor. He stated that all the systems have been weakened during Jagan’s rule.
