Stating that he is delighted that Amaravati is hosting one of India’s largest Drone Summits and Expo on October 22 and 23, with a stunning Drone Show featuring 5,500 drones, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he is looking forward to the event and meeting all the DroneAcharyas there.
He termed the event as a significant step towards positioning Andhra Pradesh as a leader in drone tech and innovation. He expressed hope that this will be a key development to make Andhra Pradesh a leader in drone technology and innovation.
On the other hand, the Amaravati Drone Summit is getting an unexpected response from the enthusiasts. Youth are competing in drone hackathons on a huge scale. Already 400 names have been registered. For the convenience of the aspirants, a decision has been taken to extend the registration deadline by two more days.
AP Drones Corporation Managing Director K. Dinesh Kumar stated that registrations for the hackathon competition can be done till Thursday (17th). It has been revealed that the cash reward has also been increased.
The Drone Federation of India has been appointed by the government as the organizing partner for this national seminar. Rs. 5.54 crores will be spent for the organization of this conference. This national conference will be held for two days at the CK Convention in Mangalagiri.
The conference will mainly focus on the use of drones in the fields of agriculture, healthcare, urban planning, peace and security, and manufacturing. The aim of this conference is to increase the use of drones in commercial terms. The road map for the establishment of drone city will be designed in this summit.
On the other hand, a drone show with 5,000 drones will be held in Vijayawada on 22nd of this month, unlike anywhere else in the country. People can watch the massive drone show for free. Special cash incentives will also be given to those who manufacture advanced service drones.
