The TDP National Chief Chandrababu Naidu is continuing his political Irrigation tour against the YSRCP Government and reached the East Godavari district. The senior politician found fault with the lazy response of the YSRCP Government regarding the Polavaram rehabilitation houses and victims.
With the help of a PowerPoint presentation, the tech-savvy ex-CM of Andhra Pradesh CBN has explained the colossal failure of the AP Government regarding the Polavaram and its associated projects. He claimed that the TDP Government back then constructed most work of the Polavaram Dam and even provided rehabilitation centers alongside constructing houses for them. He added that the governance under him helped many victims of the Pattiseema region with the funds taken from the Central Government along with the State’s compensation to aid their families. However, the current government completely failed in the project as they neither completed the houses for the victims nor completed the project. Naidu declared that the project will not be completed since the Jagan-led YSRCP Government didn’t even start the works of the left canal in this regard.
The Opposition leader of AP demanded that Jagan Sarkar fulfill the promised 19 lakh rupees compensation per acre for those who lost their lands due to the project. With the sole aim of exposing how the YSRCP Government neglected the irrigation projects in India, Naidu is touring the entire AP and is covering all the major projects.
