TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, for the fourth time. State Governor Abdul Nazir administered the oath to Chandrababu. Chandrababu was sworn in as the Chief Minister amid huge crowds at a program organized near Kesarapalli in Vijayawada.
When Nara Chandrababu Naidu said “I am… a”ll his family members were seen to be emotional. At the same time, all those who attended the meeting chanted `Jai Chandrababu’ slogans. All ranks of TDP expressed happiness after Chandrababu took oath.
He has served as the Chief Minister twice in the united Andhra Pradesh and once in the divided Andhra Pradesh and took oath as the CM for the fourth time today.
Chandrababu Naidu first took charge of Andhra Pradesh as Chief Minister in 1995, then in 1999, and 2014. Naidu also holds the record of longest continuous term as Andhra CM which is 8 years and 256 days.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi hugged Chandrababu Naidu soon after he took oath as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Modi also presented him a bouquet congratulating him.
He was followed by ministers taking oaths. First, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan took oath. He was followed by Nara Lokesh, Kollu Ravindra, Nadendla Manohar and others.
Prime MInister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, JP Nadda, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, former Chief Justice of India N V Ramana, former governor Dr Tamilsai Soundarajan and several other prominent persons were present. Rajanikanth, Chiranjeevi, D Purandeswari and several other celebrities were present.
Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu welcomed Prime Minister Modi at Gannavaram airport and accompanied him to the pandel.
In Kesarapalli, Krishna district, the assembly hall has been beautifully renovated. 11.18 acres have been prepared for the meeting in Kesarapalli, Gannavaram mandal. LED screens have been installed in 36 galleries so that everyone can see the stage. Four galleries have been specially prepared for VIPs.
