Section 144 has been imposed in several parts of Andhra Pradesh following the violence that erupted after the conclusion of the general elections. Complaints are continuing to pour in to the DGP, Election Commission, and Governor from both YSRCP and TDP leaders.

Former Chief Minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu lodged a complaint with Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena against the CM’s security personnel for allegedly holding a party at the strong room of Nagarjuna University in Guntur. In his letter to the AP CEO, Chandrababu Naidu accused the CM’s security personnel of violating election rules by organizing a party at the strong room, which included songs and a poster in defiance of the election code of conduct. He reported that more than 450 police officers participated in the event and demanded strict action against SP Attada Bapuji and the CM’s security team responsible for organizing the party.

Additionally, Chandrababu Naidu requested the Election Commission to implement elaborate security arrangements at the strong room. He included photographs of the party in his two-page letter to substantiate his claims.
