Amaravati: Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas announced on Friday that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) plans to replace him ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In a Facebook post, Srinivas shared that TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu instructed him to step back from party affairs. Following this, a meeting with party officials was arranged, where Srinivas learned that he would be replaced as the Vijayawada Lok Sabha candidate for the upcoming elections.
Speculation arose in Vijayawada about Srinivas potentially joining the BJP. He affirmed his commitment to adhere to the leader’s directives. This move signifies a shift in TDP’s strategy for the upcoming elections and raises questions about the party’s internal dynamics.
