“Bite the fangs of the poisonous snakes. People should know the facts. We will take that responsibility. Do not back down anywhere,” Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reportedly told senior police officers. He made it clear that no one at any level should be spared if they try to create a problem of law and order in the state.
The Chief Minister reviewed the misinformation being spread by the opposition on social media platforms and the steps being taken to curb it with DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao and Intelligence Chief Mahesh Chandra Ladda. Senior police officers are said to have informed that ‘social psychos’ are reeling under the onslaught of arrests, counseling and notices.
At the same time, with the ‘psycho factory’ being set up it is learnt that they have identified that the YSRCP is planning to create some form of unrest across the state. According to the most reliable information senior police officers said that they have identified that the YSRCP is preparing to create a ruckus over the arrests of social media activists.
They said that the women in the families who were arrested and served notices in these cases, including Dalit women, are planning to take to the streets. They explained that there is a possibility of conspiracies like provoking them, inciting them to pour kerosene on them in the name of protests, and inciting fans to commit suicide.
Senior police officers told the CM that they are working on those who are spreading poison on social media, making arrests here and there, and providing counseling to those in need. “This has transformed into organized crime. We have identified the roots. We are preparing and implementing a plan to uproot the poisonous tree that has spread into branches as soon as possible,” they explained.
They spoke about the way in which indecent posts are being created against the women in the families of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, as well as the Home Minister, and how they are being propagated through social media.
They reported on the actions they are taking within the scope of the law in this regard. It is reported that Chandrababu commented that ignoring such forces will definitely pose a threat to the state.
