Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 156th was supposed to be helmed by director Kalyana Krishna. But due to script issues, it has been put on the back burner. Now, Chiru’s fantasy adventure with Bimbisara director Mallidi Vasistha is termed ‘Mega 156’. Bringing back the old tradition of starting films with musical composition, the makers of ‘Mega 156’ started with the recording of a celebratory song by MM Keeravani in Hyderabad. In the video released by the production house, Keeravani revealed that the film will have 6 songs and expressed happiness for reviving an old tradition. Ace lyricist Chandra Bose is working on these songs.
Mega 156 is touted to be a visual spectacle with staggering production values. UV Creations is going to pump in more than 200 Crores of budget for this VFX-heavy fantasy drama that has Chiru in a larger-than-life role with amazing technical values. Yesterday, an exciting poster featuring a heavy-duty object presumably possessing some divine powers was unveiled by the team.
Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer of the movie. AS Prakash is the production designer, while Sushmita Konidela is the costume designer.
Sai Madhav Burra provides dialogues, whereas Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and Santhosh Kamireddy are the editors. Sri Siva Shakthi Datta and Chandrabose are the lyric writers, while Srinivas Gavireddy, Ganta Sridhar, Nimmagadda Srikanth, and Mayukh Adithya are the script associates.
