Centre releases Tax Share to States, Allocation for Andhra Pradesh Telangana

The NDA government at the Centre has released tax shares to the states, with the funds intended to support state development and capital expenditure, according to the government’s statement.
Instead of the usual monthly tax share of ₹89,086.50 crore, the Centre has announced the release of ₹1,78,173 crore in tax shares this time, including an advance payment.
Andhra Pradesh is set to receive ₹7,211 crore, while Telangana will get ₹3,745 crore. Uttar Pradesh has been allocated the highest amount, receiving ₹31,962 crore in tax shares.
Other allocations include ₹17,921 crore for Bihar, ₹13,987 crore for Madhya Pradesh, ₹11,255 crore for Maharashtra, ₹13,404 crore for West Bengal, ₹10,737 crore for Rajasthan, and ₹8,068 crore for Odisha.
