One of the prime allegations by the opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh on Jagan Sarkar is the destruction of the sugarloaf mountain Rushikonda.
The Telugu Desam Party along with Janasena has been alleging the destruction caused by the Jagan Sarkar without any restraint. The recently updated GO regarding the amount of money spent on the construction of the mega buildings has added more credibility to the allegations made by the opposition. With this, the central government has established a special committee that comprises five members which also includes a Coastal Resource Management representative.
The legal counsel representing the Central Government revealed this information during the hearing of the case in Andhra Pradesh High Court. The central government has directed the committee to give a detailed report on this within a month. The Jagan Sarkar will have to face severe consequences if it’s proved that they have harmed the natural resources in and around the Sugarloaf mountain Rushikonda.
