TDP leader Buddha Venkanna reacted sharply against YCP leaders’ accusations that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other TDP leaders have looted hundreds of crores of rupees in the name of flood relief, following Budameru floods. While the entire country is appreciating Chandrababu and his government’s marvelous flood relief activities, he said that YCP should be ashamed to make such baseless allegations.
Recalling that the flood victims are saying that it is only because of Chandrababu that they got out safely from these floods, he said that the YCP leaders are unable to bear such appreciation from the people towards the government. He lamented that former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is the person who sits in the AC room when people are affected by floods, but makes baseless accusations to save his own face.
“Did you step in mud and meet people? You speak for poor people. Have you helped the flood victims? You announced one crore rupees of flood relief. But, where and for whom do you spend that amount? Do you spread lies and lies without shame?”, he asked.
Venkanna asserted that the coalition government has taken relief measures without allowing corruption at all. He challenged the YCP leaders to come out for a public debate on the allegations of corruption.
He warned that the conspiracies of YCP leaders to destroy the state will be thwarted. He advises them even now they should get into the habit of serving the people and avoid politicizing everything. “Jagan, get used to serving the people. Avoid conspiracy and adopt clan politics”, he said.
Stating that the people fed up with his evil politics and confined him to 11 seats, he warned that even now if he failed to realize public anger and mend his ways people will demolish his political party and his political career.
