BRS MLC Kavitha leveled accusations against the Revanth Reddy government, alleging that they orchestrated an artificial drought to undermine KCR’s reputation regarding the Kaleswaram project. Addressing the media on Thursday, she branded Revanth Reddy’s administration as anti-women and forecasted an imminent alliance between him and the BJP. She criticized the Congress government, denouncing it as oppressive and specifically targeting the rights of women, citing grievances with GO 3. Kavitha vowed to pursue legal action until GO 3 is repealed, expressing readiness to stage protests if necessary.
Regarding the Delhi liquor scam investigation, Kavitha questioned its prolonged duration, likening it to a drawn-out television drama. She expressed confidence in her legal team’s ability to handle the matter and highlighted her own involvement in the case, attributing it to contemporary politics devoid of principles and ideologies. Kavitha lambasted Revanth’s governance for its perceived incompetence and lack of comprehension, urging immediate appointment of Seethakka as deputy chief minister. She accused the Congress government of deceiving women and perpetuating injustice through GO 3, lamenting the denial of permission to protest on Women’s Day at Indira Park Dharna Chowk.
