The acclaimed director Tharun Bhascar’s latest outing ‘Kheeda Cola’ which hit the theatres yesterday garnered a positive talk on the first day.
This film which was released amidst good hype and expectations seems to have passed the day one test. Touted to be a crime comedy thriller, this film boasts an interesting star cast that includes the legendary Bhramanandam, Tharun Bhascar, Raghuram, and Chaitanya Rao in pivotal roles. This film was able to collect a whopping sum of 3.5 crores at the US box office and more than 2.5 crores at the domestic box office on day one. Overall, this film was able to mint more than 6 crores on the first day which is pretty impressive considering the budget, hype, and market.
On the other hand, Maa Oori Polimera-2 has also garnered a strong positive word of mouth and it was able to collect 3 crores on day one at the ticket window. Both these films have impressive day-one figures but have to wait and see how well they perform by the end of the weekend.
