Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council and senior YSRCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana said that he is going to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the security of former Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
He expressed anger that since the formation of the coalition government, YS Jagan’s Z Plus security has been being diluted in a conspiratorial manner. He said that the coalition government is completely destroying democracy in the state and democratic values have been destroyed in the state.
He said that they are giving a nod to the spirit of the constitution and are running a red book rule. He said that governments that should win elections and provide good governance to the people are instead using their entire time to create partisanship against the opposition, misuse their power by using the police and fabricating false cases.
Botsa alleged that they are taking the laws into their own hands with the support of the government, and the security failure faced by former CM YS Jagan in Ramagiri is proof of this. He deplored that though YS Jagan has Z-plus security, the coalition government is not arranging minimum police security wherever he goes.
He alleged that the YSRCP BC leader was beaten up with power in Ramagiri mandal. He said that when YS Jagan went to that area to console the family, the coalition government did not arrange even minimum security with political malice and a conspiracy.
Though everyone knows that thousands of fans would come to any area where YS Jagan goes, he alleged that the government has failed to provide security due to negligence and malice.
Though the government is saying that 1100 policemen have been deployed at the helipad in Ramagiri for security, he said that people have seen the scenes that were shown on TV during the incident. He accused that at least ten policemen were not seen there.
Botsa said that democratically elected governments should work legally. But he said that this is not happening at all in the coalition government. He alleged that if anyone questions this, they are counterattacking and false cases are being fabricated.
He said that false cases have been filed against the YSRCP district president and the former MLA of Raptad in Anantapur, and that the local people are angry about the anarchy and atrocities being committed by this government.
