Minister Botsa Satyanarayana denounced the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for engaging in violent activities and spreading false allegations against YSRCP leaders. He emphasized YSRCP’s stance against violence and urged all parties to refrain from instigating unrest for political motives. Satyanarayana cautioned that strict measures would be taken against opposition parties if they resorted to vindictive actions.
Regarding complaints by a retired officer appointed by the Election Commission, Satyanarayana highlighted concerns about arbitrary decisions and riots occurring during officer exchanges. He advocated for fair police intervention to ensure impartiality.
Expressing confidence in YSRCP’s electoral success, Satyanarayana anticipated winning close to 175 seats. He announced Jagan’s swearing-in ceremony as chief minister in Visakhapatnam on June 9, signaling the city’s significance as the starting point of Jagan’s rule. Stressing the importance of maintaining peace in Visakhapatnam, he expressed a desire for a stable government at the Centre and emphasized the necessity for YSRCP to secure seats to serve the state’s interests.
