Senior YSRCP leader and leader of opposition in the legislative council, Botsa Satyanarayana asks why the coalition government is not paying attention to the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant? He said that YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s meeting with MP Mithun Reddy, who is under remand in Rajahmundry Central Jail in the liquor scam case, on the 25th of this month has been postponed.

He lamented that there is no democratic government in the state and things are being done for selfish reasons. He warned the coalition government that this is not a good tradition.
“No matter which group you look at, it is not satisfactory. The personal selfishness of the coalition leaders is visible. Farmers, farm laborers, students and businessmen are being treated unfairly”, he added. The former minister alleged that the state government has not given anything to farmers except the help given by the central government.
He deplored that 60 to 70 thousand farmers in the Upper Godavari district have not received the sustenance of a breadwinner. He said that the alliance government has not fully implemented the `Ammaku Vandanam’ Scheme. He asked the state government about what it did with the money it borrowed by borrowing Rs 1.5 lakh crore? Where are the roads being constructed? Not a single road has been laid.
Moreover, expressing concern that incidents of rapes have increased, Botsa lamented that they are not doing anything except cursing the YSRCP and Jaganmohan Reddy. Stating that crime has increased drastically in the past 14 months of rule, he wondered if this is good governance? He accused public representatives of land grabbing along with their cronies.
