Telangana state BJP President N Ramchander Rao said he was inclined to make politics “ abusive free” and fight to spread party ideology for the betterment of people and state. Addressing an Intellectuals meeting at Kodad, he expressed concern that rival political leaders have been indulging in mudslinging against each other and using “ abusive ad un parliament” words .

In politics, he said leaders might have differences on party ideology irrespective of their party affiliations. But, he cautioned that it was not wise to  indulge in using derogatory words against individuals. Stating his intention is to create a ”new political atmosphere”e in the new Telangana state, Rao said right from beginning of his entry in politics from ABVP  he worked for party ideology and only criticised his rivals if anything was wrong.

Calling upon youth to join politics to make the political atmosphere in the state, the  BJP chief urged social media platforms not to vitiate the political atmosphere by disseminating false and wrong news without ascertaining the facts of the story. He asked social media platforms not to mislead youth to create social animosity.

“You may mesmerise  your audience with your entertainment programmes. But be cautious while releasing a story sans facts which may create confusion in the minds of people” he said. A political leader should be aggressive in spreading true party ideology  among the people which he has adopted while joining the party, he added.

Rao cautioned that aggressiveness  does not mean that the leader should tear his clothes in a squat on the road using abusive language against his rivals. He deplored that there was assumption that only rich people and others will enter in politics and urged youth to join in politics to serve the people and the nation.

He made it clear that the real and true democracy would prevail when elections are held without the influence of any monetary benefits which would bring a bright future for the coming generation.

Rao asked the Intellectuals forum to take responsibility for creating consciousness among people to help BJP to come into power in next elections in Telangana for a “ Viksit Telangana”. Launching a vitriolic attack on the Congress government, the BJP president alleged that the Revanth Reddy government even after one and half year rule is not showing any interest or attention in fulfilling guarantees.

He further accused the Congress government of ignoring  in keeping its promises and dragging the state into debt by misleading people. He lamented that the Congress party has deceived people with its impracticable nine guarantees and other promises.
