BJP-LP Leader Aleti predicts CM Revanth Reddy Likely To Be changed After Local Bodies polls

BJP Legislature Party leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy predicted that the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is likely to be changed at any moment after the local body elections. He said that both the Congress high command and the state Congress leaders are eagerly waiting for the local body elections.

He alleged that Rahul Gandhi has a file of many allegations against the Chief Minister and that the gap between them continues. That is why Rahul Gandhi did not greet Revanth even though he came to Hyderabad recently, he added.

Maheshwar Reddy also alleged that the Telangana cabinet has been divided into two groups. The ministers who opposed the Chief Minister are giving reports to Rahul Gandhi from time to time on the political situation in the state and also complaining against the miserable regime of Revanth Reddy.

He said that senior ministers are troubled by the Chief Minister conducting reviews at his residence and that the ministers do not like the CM’s interference in some departments. He said that the gap between the Chief Minister and the Revenue Minister has increased in the land issue. Moreover, he said that several Congress MLAs are angry against Revanth Reddy, as he is stopping the expansion of the cabinet.

The BJP-LP leader accused CM Revanth Reddy of trying to declare a financial emergency in the state. He alleged the government is using the financial emergency as a pretext to justify not implementing electoral promises, delaying payment of employee dues, cutting back on the Rythu Bharosa farmer support scheme, and even scrapping initiatives like fee reimbursement for students.

He asked why Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka was not responding when the Chief Minister said that the state was bankrupt. He alleged that it was due to differences between two of them.

“For the past two to three months, chief minister Revanth Reddy has been openly admitting that the state’s financial situation is dire. However, none of his ministers have addressed the issue publicly. The chief minister seems to be preparing to tell the people that, due to a lack of revenue and inability to raise further loans, the government cannot fulfill its promises,” he added.

He further alleged that some ministers are concerned that such admissions would further damage the government’s reputation.“From the beginning, some ministers have been worried that this narrative will bring more disrepute to the government. Nevertheless, the chief minister continues to explain to the public that the previous ten years of BRS rule have led to economic devastation in the state and is now considering imposing a financial emergency,” Maheshwar Reddy stated.
