Amarfavati: AP BJP chief Daggubati Purandeswari strongly criticized the YSRCP leadership, alleging a significant conspiracy behind their “Why Not 175” slogan, promoted by CM Jagan and the party.
Purandeswari claimed that in the upcoming elections, the YSRCP intends to secure victory through illegal means, including the manipulation of voters and candidate transfers between constituencies. She accused CM Jagan of orchestrating this scheme and urged BJP cadres to remain vigilant to prevent such irregularities.
Highlighting instances of electoral malpractice, Purandeswari cited the casting of 35,000 fake votes in the Tirupati by-election, achieved through the creation of counterfeit voter IDs and fabricated photos. She further alleged that YSRCP candidates’ constituency transfers, such as Minister Vidadala Rajani’s relocation from Chilakaluripeta to Guntur, were accompanied by the mass mobilization of followers to register votes under questionable circumstances.
