Protests erupted in Muppala, Palnadu district, against Minister Ambati Rambabu following the tragic death of Mansoor Ali in a road accident. The villagers apprehended the responsible driver, delivering him to the police. Despite this, the driver was released on station bail, inciting anger among the villagers.
In response, they staged a two-hour dharna, blocking the road. Minister Ambati, seemingly indifferent to the situation, faced criticism when he eventually arrived to pay respects to Mansoor’s body. The villagers, upset by the delayed response, chanted slogans against Minister Ambati, expressing their dissatisfaction with his handling of the incident.
