Union Minister Bandi Sanjay criticized the Congress Party, claiming that its history of making unfulfilled promises had previously led to defeats in Haryana and Maharashtra, and now a similar outcome awaited the party in the Delhi Assembly elections.
Responding to the release of Congress’ campaign poster for the Delhi elections by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Bandi Sanjay remarked that the promises were “deceptive” and would serve as a “ticket to defeat.” He accused the Congress of misleading voters in Telangana with unfulfilled commitments and reiterated that the party’s strategy had already failed in other states.
“Congress relied on false assurances in Haryana and Maharashtra, resulting in electoral losses. Revanth Reddy’s promises in Delhi will end in failure, just as they did in Telangana,” he remarked.
Bandi Sanjay further stated that the people of Delhi would not be swayed by the Congress’ “empty propaganda and hollow pledges,” asserting that another defeat was inevitable for the party in the upcoming polls.
