In a show of solidarity with the victims of the recent floods in Andhra Pradesh, the Telugu film industry has made significant contributions to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Notable actors and technicians from the industry have announced their donations to support flood relief efforts. Nandamuri Balakrishna has pledged ₹50 lakhs, while actors Siddu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen have each committed ₹15 lakhs and ₹5 lakhs, respectively.
Today, Balakrishna, Siddu, and Vishwak Sen met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to deliver their cheques personally. During the meeting, Chief Minister Naidu extended his heartfelt thanks and expressed deep appreciation for their generous support. He acknowledged the importance of these contributions in aiding the flood victims and emphasized the positive impact of the film industry’s involvement in the relief efforts.
