Bandaru Dattatreya, who is amiable, has established a fine tradition by organizing this event every year and praised his daughter Vijayalakshmi for continuing that culture. He stated that the construction of unity bridges is the social responsibility of all of us in the current situation and said that once we experienced problems of unity or foreign rule.
He said that now due to western imitation, we are getting away from family and society. In these circumstances, all should unite through such programs which are a part of our Indian culture.
Venkaiah Naidu said that being united does not only mean standing on the same word, but also respecting the thoughts and feelings of others. He said that political differences should be limited to ideologies and if leaders engage in personal insults, it will spread to activists and this is not good for the welfare of the society. Venkaiah Naidu said that in the spirit of such programs, the people’s representatives should work hard to develop the spirit of unity and collective spirit in the society.
