Tadipatri has once again become tense with the arrival of former MLA and YSRCP leader Kethireddy Pedda Reddy on Sunday. A large number of his followers reached both JC Prabhakar Reddy’s house and Pedda Reddy’s residence. In this order, the police were alerted. Heavy security was arranged in Tadipatri to prevent any untoward incident.
The police objected to Pedda Reddy’s arrival in Tadipatri without their knowledge. Later, Pedda Reddy was shifted to Anantapur from Tadipatri. Former MLA Kethireddy Pedda Reddy reached his residence in Bhagat Singh Nagar in Tadipatri without the police’s permission. However, the police had advised him not to come to Tadipatri in view of law and order issues several times in the past.
When asked about the same issue recently, Kethireddy said that he had come to his residence on the orders of the High Court. In this order, tense conditions arose in Tadipatri. On the other hand, a large number of TDP leaders and activists reached the residence of Tadipatri Municipal Chairman JC Prabhakar Reddy.
Prabhakar Reddy made it clear that Pedda Reddy was not allowed to stay in Tadipatri under any circumstances. He recalled that Pedda Reddy had come to his house in the past during the YSRCP regime and provoked the activists. He also accused Pedda Reddy of being the reason for the problems in Tadipatri.
He deplored that there is a possibility of tense conditions arising in Tadipatri. With this, the police who went to Pedda Reddy’s residence took him to Anantapur saying that he is not allowed to stay here. In this order, the tense conditions in Tadipatri have reduced to some extent.
The police senior officials became serious about Pedda Reddy turning a blind eye to the police and coming to Tadipatri. Despite the High Court orders, the police advised Pedda Reddy not to go to Tadipatri due to the law and order situation. The police questioned Pedda Reddy about who would be responsible if a fight broke out here. It is reported that Pedda Reddy was warned that action would be taken if he tried to do so again.
Meanwhile, Peddi Reddy alleged that JC Prabhakar Reddy is afraid of him and TDP leaders fears that if he is in Tadipatri, their activities will not be successful. He accused JC Prabhakar Reddy of playing politics by using violence and taunting the police.
