AP is dwelling in drugs under Jagan’s regime: Nara Lokesh

Thursday, September 19, 2024

The General Secretary of TDP, Nara Lokesh has found fault with the way Jagan Sarkar is intentionally ignoring the alarming rise of Ganja cultivation and distribution in Andhra Pradesh. Declaring that the state has become a capital for drugs, Lokesh complained to the Governor.

Nara Lokesh who is touring the state on foot with ‘Yuva Galam’ has taken a brief break and met AP’s Governor Abdul Nazeer and complained against the ruling party YSRCP’s alleged support to Ganja smuggling within the state. Lokesh told the Press that the state which used to be clean in the past is now filled with filth called Ganja or Marijuana to the extent that it was being grown in rural and remote areas to supply all over India. He added that wherever drugs are getting caught, all links come down to Andhra Pradesh and such activities cannot happen without the support of the local government and its Chief Minister Jagan. In this regard, Lokesh declared that Jagan in his four-plus years of the regime only achieved one thing, which is turning the state into a Marijuana capital and destroying the youth.

Lokesh promised that all measures and necessary actions would be taken against Ganja cultivators and smugglers when TDP forms the government in 2024. Not just Lokesh of TDP but other political leaders like Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan are pointing at Jagan and his government for this entire drug issue of the state but the CM has a blind eye even to order a probe into it.
