Amaravati: The YSRCP high command is focusing its attention on the Narasapuram MP constituency to counter rebel MP Raghurama Krishna Raju by putting up a formidable candidate in the upcoming elections. It is reported that the YSRCP is likely to nominate a candidate from the Kshatriya community, with Shyamala Devi, the wife of rebel star Krishnam Raju, being considered for the ticket.
The Kshatriya community constitutes a significant portion of the voters in the constituency. Additionally, the party is contemplating Gokaraju Rangaraju’s son, Rangaraju, and a young woman from the Kshatriya community as potential candidates for the ticket, with Chintalapati Swetha Varma also under consideration.
