AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan FIRST POWERFUL SPEECH in Assembly 2024

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan congratulated Ayyanna Patrudu on his unanimous election as the 16th Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. Addressing the House, Pawan Kalyan noted that Ayyanna Patrudu’s extensive political experience would serve as a valuable guide, especially for newcomers like himself. “People who have witnessed Ayyanna’s fiery nature over the years will now see his dignity,” he said. However, Pawan humorously remarked that it was a bit unfortunate that Ayyanna, due to his new role, would no longer have the opportunity to scold his opponents, a comment that elicited laughter and applause from the audience.

Pawan further commented that while Ayyanna Patrudu might miss the chance to chastise opponents, he was glad that Ayyanna would now take on the responsibility of controlling abusive members in the House. He likened it to making a mischievous child the class leader, expressing hope that the Assembly would function with dignity under Ayyanna’s leadership. Pawan urged members to refrain from using foul language during discussions. He indirectly referenced the YSRCP’s electoral defeat, attributing it to the public’s dissatisfaction with the abusive conduct in the House, which left the YSRCP with only eleven seats. Pawan highlighted that while the YSRCP knew how to celebrate victories, they struggled to accept defeat gracefully.
