Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan arrived in Tirupati today, receiving a grand welcome from Jana Sena party supporters. He is scheduled to visit Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala tomorrow. Before his visit, Pawan Kalyan performed a puja at the Alipiri Padala Mandapam and began his pilgrimage to Tirumala on foot, accompanied by his friend and art director Anand Sai. In preparation for his visit, security has been tightened along the Alipiri walking path.
In light of the recent controversy over the adulteration of the Tirumala laddu, Pawan Kalyan has undertaken a penance as an act of atonement. Following his prayers at the Tirumala temple tomorrow, he is expected to conclude his penance. Additionally, he will host the Varahi Sabha public meeting in Tirupati the following evening.
