During an election campaign in Pulivendula, AP PCC chief YS Sharmila delivered significant remarks regarding the murder of her uncle YS Viveka. She lamented the brutal killing, emphasizing that five years had elapsed without justice being served to the perpetrators.
Sharmila accused CM Jagan of shielding the murderers and asserted that Avinash Reddy, identified by the CBI as a suspect, was being protected by the government. She questioned the absence of justice for Jagan’s own brother, implying a failure of duty. Expressing deep affection for Viveka, Sharmila likened his significance to YSR to that of Lakshmana’s to Lord Rama.
