This is a wrong sign for the ruling party YSR Congress as one more MLA has quit the party today citing YS Jagan has backstabbed him.
As the general elections are approaching in the state of Andhra Pradesh, the YSRCP chief has decided to give the tickets only to the winning horses and also changed his strategy of changing the MLA’s constituencies as there is a lot of anti-incumbency in the public regarding the governance of Jagan. The senior MLAs are quite disappointed with this move and one after the other, they are preparing their ground and shifting their base to other parties. Rayadurg MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy has quit the party today and has submitted his resignation to the speaker. Rama Chandra Reddy has lambasted Jagan saying that he has been betrayed by his party and despite working hard for the constituency and party, he was denied ticked by Jagan for the upcoming elections.
Rama Chandra Reddy has made a statement that he will be contesting at any cost and will emerge victorious in the upcoming elections. He vowed to field his wife from the Kalyandurg constituency. Kotam Reddy, Anam Venkatarama Reddy, Undavalli Sridevi, and Alla Rama Krishan Reddy have left the party, and Rama Chandra Reddy joins this list now. Have to wait and see how Jagan reacts to MLAs leaving the party.
