Tuesday, April 30, 2024

Hyderabad police have filed another case against Kalvakuntla Tejeshwar Rao, also known as Kanna Rao, the nephew of former Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. This follows his recent arrest in connection with an alleged land-grabbing scam. The case stems from a complaint by a software employee, Vijay Vardhan Rao, who alleges that Kanna Rao, along with others, unlawfully detained and assaulted him in a guest house.

The complainant claims that Kanna Rao and his associates robbed him of cash and gold after learning of his possessions through one Bindu Madhuri, alias Nandini. Furthermore, Vijay Vardhan Rao asserts that Kanna Rao resorted to intimidation and extortion by invoking the names of police officers Bhujanga Rao and ACP Katta Sambaiah. Consequently, the police have initiated an investigation into the allegations of kidnapping, extortion, and criminal intimidation.
