The theatrical trailer of Anni Manchi Sakunamule, starring Santosh Shoban and Malavika Nair in the lead roles is out this Friday and it promises a wholesome family entertainer brimming with myriad emotions. Nandini Reddy KV, who has a knack for narrating heartwarming dramas, seems to be coming up with yet another feel-good outing laced with typical entertainment, touching family drama, bittersweet emotions, and blossoming romance.
With a run time of just over two minutes, the trailer hints that the story of Anni Manchi Sakunamule revolves around two families from which a boy and a girl fall in love. In their love journey, the pair comes across so many hurdles. They find it very difficult to convince their families and live together. How they overcome all the emotional setbacks and lead a happy life, in the end, forms the core narrative of this film.
Director Nandini Reddy roped in a host of notable actors like Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Naresh, Gautami, and Sowcar Janaki and penned strong characters for all of them. She needs to deftly handle the emotions between these two families and narrate the story in an interesting way to make sure that the film does turn out to be a monotonous drama.
Santosh Shoban appears lively and energetic in his role. He impresses with his funny jinks while having a conversation with Rajendra Prasad. He does well in emotional scenes as well. Malavika Nair is a good fit for the role. She complements Santosh very well in entertaining and emotional scenes. All the other actors got substantial roles.
The pleasant background score by Mickey J Meyer and the impressive cinematography handled by Sunny Kurapati add more lustre to the trailer. The rich production values by Swapna Cinema make the trailer visually appealing.
