Minister Ambati Rambabu informed the SIT team about the disorder caused by TDP leaders on election day, noting that many residents of Thondapi village fled out of fear. He emphasized that it is the police’s responsibility to reassure these people and bring them back to the village. Additionally, Rambabu briefed the SIT team on recent illegal cases being registered by the police before addressing the media.

“Violence erupted in Palnadu and Tadipatri, particularly in areas where officials had been replaced,” Rambabu said. “These raids seemed aimed at damaging EVMs and were instigated following complaints from Purandeswari. There are suspicions that Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, and Purandeswari conspired in this. Officials appointed by the Election Commission were suspended. Chandrababu only incites violence when he fears losing power.”

Rambabu further accused Chandrababu and Purandeswari of being responsible for the attacks in Palnadu and Tadipatri, alleging that some officials accepted bribes from Kanna Lakshmi Narayana. “I hope the SIT officials uncover all the facts. I have provided them with all the information I have,” Rambabu concluded.
