Ambati Rambabu Complains to SIT Over Violence in Sattenapalle

Minister Ambati Rambabu criticized the police system in Palnadu district for its failures during the elections. He reported that the SIT team is currently investigating the district, and he lodged a complaint with them. Rambabu highlighted severe clashes in Thondapi village, which forced the entire village to migrate due to the level of violence. He stated that police intervention was necessary to restore order in the village. He also alleged that the police were culpable in the seat tragedy and called for an investigation into their role at the ground level.

Rambabu accused the police of taking bribes from TDP leaders and failing to perform their duties in Palnadu district. He conveyed these concerns to the SIT and officials. He mentioned that several IPS officers were transferred across the country before the elections, and the BJP, Jana Sena, and TDP alliance had lodged complaints against some government officials. Rambabu noted that the violence seen in this election was unprecedented compared to the last two elections.
