Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday expressed satisfaction over the successful relaunch of developmental works in Amaravati, the state’s capital. In a teleconference held with alliance MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and senior leaders, the Chief Minister reviewed the outcomes of the event and outlined the road ahead.
Highlighting the significance of the event, Naidu said that the decision to restart the works through Prime Minister Narendra Modi was intended to reaffirm Amaravati’s necessity as the capital. He stated that the Prime Minister’s remarks — “Amaravati is not just a city, but a force” — served as an inspiration and laid out a clear vision for the future.
“The Prime Minister’s assurance in yesterday’s public meeting has strengthened public confidence in Amaravati. His statement that Amaravati will serve as a model capital for the country is a matter of pride for Andhra Pradesh. His address reflects both his affection for the people and his commitment to the state’s development,” said Naidu.
The Chief Minister directed Urban Development Minister P. Narayana to ensure completion of the Amaravati construction within three years and conduct formal inaugurations. “From now on, the responsibility lies with you,” he added.
Naidu lauded the efforts of ministers and officials in ensuring smooth execution of the event despite the participation of lakhs of people. “The programme was conducted efficiently with enthusiastic public participation and a positive outlook from all regions. The entire government machinery worked in coordination to ensure success,” he said.
Ministers K. Parthasarathi, Satyakumar Yadav, Nandendla Manohar, and P. Narayana, who participated in the teleconference, shared their views and stated that the relaunch of capital works had received a positive response from all sections of society.
