Hyderabad: A tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the release of Pushpa 2 resulted in the death of a woman named Revathi. In connection with the incident, the police named actor Allu Arjun as the 11th accused. He was subsequently arrested and sent to jail, later securing release on interim bail.
Megastar Chiranjeevi extended his support to the Allu family during this challenging time. Upon learning about Allu Arjun’s arrest, Chiranjeevi canceled his shooting schedule and attempted to meet him at the Chikkadpally Police Station. However, citing security reasons, police denied him entry. Chiranjeevi then visited the residence of Allu Aravind, where he held discussions with legal advisors to expedite Allu Arjun’s release.
Following his release, Allu Arjun, accompanied by his wife, visited Chiranjeevi’s residence on Sunday. Sources indicate that the actor discussed the circumstances leading to his arrest with the Megastar and joined the family for lunch.
