Following the announcement of the 71st National Film Awards, prominent actors Allu Arjun and Kamal Haasan extended their congratulations to this year’s winners, including Shah Rukh Khan, Vikrant Massey, and Rani Mukerji.
Allu Arjun, who won the National Best Actor Award last year for Pushpa, praised Shah Rukh Khan for winning Best Actor for his performance in Jawan. “My heartfelt congratulations to Shah Rukh Khan sir. After a remarkable 33-year cinematic journey, you truly deserve this honor. This is yet another milestone in your glorious career,” he stated, also commending director Atlee for his role in the film’s success.
The actor also lauded Vikrant Massey, who shared the Best Actor award with Shah Rukh Khan for 12th Fail. “Congratulations to Vikrant Massey sir. 12th Fail is one of my most favorite films. You truly deserve this recognition. I’m delighted to see this film winning a National Award,” Allu Arjun wrote. He further congratulated Rani Mukerji, who won Best Actress for Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, and extended best wishes to all other award-winning artists and technicians, calling it a proud moment for Indian cinema.
Veteran actor Kamal Haasan also praised the winners, noting that Shah Rukh Khan’s recognition was long overdue. He described 12th Fail as a profoundly moving film and commended Rani Mukerji for her outstanding performance.
