Actor Allu Arjun dedicated his Best Actor award at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards 2024 to his fans. The award was presented to him for his performance in the upcoming film Pushpa 2. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy handed over the award, which included a memento, certificate, and cash prize.
Speaking on the occasion, Allu Arjun expressed gratitude to the Telangana government for organizing the event. “Thanks to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, and producer Dil Raju. I’m especially grateful to director Sukumar—this award is possible only because of him. I also thank the entire Pushpa 2 team,” he said.
He also acknowledged filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli for encouraging the pan-India release of Pushpa: The Rise. “If Rajamouli hadn’t insisted on a Hindi release for Pushpa 1, the craze wouldn’t have reached this level. I’m thankful to him,” Allu Arjun added.
Calling the award his first for Pushpa 2, he termed it “very special” and dedicated it to his fans. He concluded his speech with a powerful dialogue from the film, earning cheers from the audience. Allu Arjun also expressed hope that the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards would continue to be held annually.
