Alleging 1,000 Non-Hindus working In TTD, Bandi Sanjay Demands To Remove Them

Tuesday, December 9, 2025

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has alleged that more than a thousand non- Hindu people have been given jobs in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and demanded to remove all of them from their jobs. Will they give jobs to Hindus who are busy in mosques and churches?, he asked.

He was angry that despite the change of governments and rulers, they continue to practice this practice. Sanjay Kumar, who came to Tirumala with his family members on the occasion of his birthday, had darshan of the Lord.

Speaking to the media on this occasion, he deplored that several temples in the Telugu states have not even seen the offering of incense sticks and urged that the ancient temples that have not seen development should be identified, TTD funds should be allocated, and a plan should be prepared on a war footing for their development.

Stating that the land was worshipped for the construction of the Venkateswara Swamy temple in Karimnagar, Sanjay Kumar appealed TTD to allocate funds for the Illandakunta Ramalayam and Kondagattu Anjanna temples to be built immediately. He asserted that Tirumala is the property of Hindus.

He reminded that a declaration is mandatory for foreigners and non-religious people to visit the temple. But, he expressed surprise that more than a thousand people of other religions are working in the TTD. They do not believe in Hinduism and God. Why give jobs to non-Hindus in such a large number? Why continue them?

He cautioned that such a method is not good to maintain sanity of temples and said that there is a difference in customs and rituals because people of other religions are working in the TTD. He questioned why people who do not believe in the temple are being paid salaries?

He said that all Hindus are against this and advised that it is not right to avoid saying that they were appointed sometime ago. He objected to the continuation of those who are working against Sanatan Dharma. He cautioned that vote bank politics is not right.
