Advantage Samajavaragamana as new releases disappoint

This Friday turned out to be a disappointment for Telugu moviegoers as new releases ‘Rangabali’ and ‘Bhaag Saale’ failed to entertain them. Trade circles are utterly unhappy because none of these films secured even minimum openings despite their strong publicity campaigns.

As new releases failed badly, Sree Vishnu’s blockbuster comedy caper Samajavaragamana is looking to extend its strong run this weekend. The film is running with solid occupancies in all territories because of the strong word of mouth and positive reviews. After grossing close to 30 Crores in the first weekend, the film is likely to collect decent numbers in the second weekend as moviegoers are lapping up the film big time.

In Overseas, Samajavaragamana grossed close to $ 700K. Trade circles are expecting the film to surpass the million-dollar mark as the new releases couldn’t evoke any response from the audience there. It is likely to emerge as a double blockbuster by the end of its run.

The light-hearted comedy track coupled with flawless narration and beautiful songs helped the film garner unanimous reviews. It emerged as the biggest hit in Sree Vishnu’s career.
