The impressive response to the spectacular theatrical trailer has prompted the makers of Adipurush to unveil another trailer during the pre-release event in Tirupati this Tuesday ahead of the film’s release on June 16th. The second trailer glimpses the showdown between the mighty Lord Rama and the menacing Ravana played by Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan respectively.
Playing out at two and a half minutes, the action-packed trailer is centered on the crucial events that led to the ultimate battle between Rama and Ravana. The breathtaking face-off seems to be the major highlight of the film as director Om Raut mounted the episode in a scintillating manner as seen from the trailer. The visuals are eye-pleasing and promise an extravaganza on screen.
It starts with a sneak peek of the significant scene when Ravana abducts Sita with his chicanery. Saif Ali Khan looks inch-perfect as Ravana in his ominous get-up. Prabhas as Raghava is majestic and swashbuckling while leading an army of fighters belonging to Hanuman in the final confrontation with Ravana. As Sita, Kriti Sanon is very dignified and demure. She is a perfect fit for the character.
The trailer is spellbinding especially because Om Raut has made the known epic as modern tale with stunning production values. Every frame looks grand and lavish. The dialogues are very effective and the background score is compelling enough to elevate the experience. It looks like Adipurush team has a winner in their hands.
T-Series Bhusan Kumar and Retrophiles have jointly bankrolled the film.
